Description

Did you know that soy sauce contains wheat? This is something most people don't think about after starting a gluten-free diet. This was a sad loss for me, because I love teriyaki sauce. Thankfully I was able to make up a gluten-free version, using a gluten-free soy sauce that taste just as good (or better) than the gluten filled sauce we know and love. This teriyaki sauce is so flavorful; filled with ginger and garlic and the fun add in of pineapple. So easy and so delicious.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a medium sauce pan add pineapple, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic and ginger. Bring sauce to a boil and then turn to medium heat stirring constantly until reduced and thickened (about 15 minutes).

  2. While sauce is thickening season both sides of chicken with salt and pepper. Heat oil over medium heat in a large non-stick skillet and add chicken breasts to the skillet. Cook breasts on each side flipping every 5-7 minutes until done.

  3. Serve chicken on a plate and top with desired amount of sauce. Serve with your favorite sides.

  4. ENJOY!!!!
